A herbal tea is just one ingredient that can help you get your symptoms under control, according to Dr. Terence D. Balsley, M.D., associate professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
“A tea contains several different compounds, such as a flavonoid called guaiacol, and an amino acid called phenylalanine,” Balsler said.
“It also contains antioxidants like anthocyanins, which can help reduce the inflammation that is associated with COVID-19.”
Balsier explains that herbal remedies have been used for centuries to treat a variety of illnesses, including diarrhea, headaches, depression, and rheumatoid arthritis.
He also noted that some of the common herbal products used for COVID prevention are “natural” and have been around for thousands of years.
He said that the vast majority of people who use a herbal tea are aware of its benefits, but many have no idea that it is a safe and effective treatment for their symptoms.
“Many people do not know that herbal tea contains many natural ingredients,” he said.
Bains explains that some natural extracts and herbal supplements may contain chemicals that are “unapproved” or have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
While herbal products are safe and can help control COVID, they can also lead to side effects and potentially even addiction.
He noted that a large number of herbal remedies are also “high in sugar,” and can be highly addictive.
According to Bains, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that people over the age of 50 should avoid herbal products, which include tea and supplements.
“Although some herbal products may be used in combination with other medications, it is not recommended to do so unless a medical condition warrants it,” he wrote in a statement.
While herbal remedies can help to prevent COVID from spreading, there are also plenty of other ways to manage your symptoms.
Bats are a great way to prevent infections from spreading and get your COVID symptoms under your control.
Batteries, dryer sheets, and heaters can help with COVI symptoms, as can a variety, including alcohol, caffeine, and other drugs.
But if you feel that you are experiencing more than just COVID/DIA symptoms, a holistic approach to COVID can be very effective.
Bales and Bains recommend taking a cold shower after using an herbal tea to help get rid of any lingering toxins from the body.
You can also try a variety and safe herbal supplements, such, vitamins, and herbal teas.
